- Basic Refractories

All materials described in this brochure are manufactured from high quality raw materials, and forming to size and shape is by power pressing.

Fired materials

Basic High Alumina & Fire clay products are fired by Bricesco Tunnel kiln to required temperatures of 1750 Deg. C.at Interkiln Ceramics Ltd. and upto 1550 to 1600 Deg.C. in Wistra Shuttle Kilns at Interkiln Industries Ltd.


Chemically bonded and heat treated materials

High strength and pyroplastic materials are either cured or heat treated, to appropriate temperatures, thereby allowing the final properties to be developed during service.


Magnesite (normal grade IKMGN)

A High Quality Magnesite Brick is based on a naturally occurring raw material with an inherent high lime/silica ratio and a consistently low iron oxide content which makes a highly suitable for use in electric arc furnace walls and slack linings.

Dense & super magnesite (IK MGD & IK MGS)

A high performance refractory based on specially selected high purity sea water magnesite / fused magnesite . This quality is specially designed for use in basic oxygen furnaces and other arduous operating environment in steel making.
